Beautiful Ring, Sad Ending

"My boyfriend proposed to me December 4 2009 with this ring. I thought it was soo pretty--brilliant sparkle & 1/2 a carat at such a reasonable price! (I found it online later). The sunflower shape of the center setting makes it look like a much larger piece from a distance--but zooming up close is fine because then you can see the unique design of the smaller diamonds in the middle. UNFORTUNATELY, only SIX days after I put the ring on, a stone fell out of the center without any provocation or incident on my part. If the ring had been a year or two old, I probably wouldn't have minded...but to have it occur only six days after the proposal was not only heart wrenching (since I'd have had to fork it over for repair for a period of time when I'd rather be showing it off!) but it was also NOT a good sign for the longevity of the piece. Who wants to go replace stones every few months?! So while this is a very pretty & affordable ring & the diamonds are nice...I would not be so hasty to buy as the craftsmanship was evidently shoddy."

"My husband and I were just going to get gold wedding bands for now but then he decided to take me ring shopping. We went to Zales first to look at another ring that he found online. We checked out a few others as well and we both loved this one. My husband likes that it looks like one big diamond and I like that the flower setting is unique and different than every other engagment ring. I had to get it sized since my fingers aren't a size 7 LOL, but Zales put a rush on it and I cannot wait to get my weddng set back to wear and show off in a couple of days rather than a few weeks. I would definitley recommend this ring to anyone that is looking to surprise that special woman in their life."

"A stunning ring! I shopped at 2 other stores before going into Zales and I also did some online shopping and saw this before I was in the store. I couldn't put it down and my fiance liked it too. Many comments I've been getting is "wow that's a rock!" You can't tell the "flower" design unless you look closely. I personally love the flower because my fiance does not do flowers; so this was considered a "permanent" flower from him to me. :-)"

"I recieved this ring as an engagement ring and right from the start we called it the flower ring... little did we know at the time that was the purpose of the design to actually look like a flower! My fiance is not at all the type to give flowers so i tease him about always having a flower from him now! I love this ring because it is so delicate and unusual. I never hear the same comment twice and everyone thinks it is beautiful!"
